I'm so sorry miss, I don't know what happen with my work yesterday. I sent my #RevisedWork4 at about 2 p.m. I'm sure that it was already sent. The latest time I checked my post at about 1.30 p.m yesterday. In that time I have already found my #work 4 #Revised work 4 #revised work 2, but now I just can find the #revised work 2. So, I really sorry miss about it. And it is my #Revised work 4 again. In this correction I want to give a picture of Tirto Utomo and add more revision.

TIRTO UTOMO

Do you know aqua? It is a brand of bottled water from Indonesia. The founder of Aqua is Sien Biauw Kwa or Tirto Utomo. He is one of the successful businessman from Indonesia. He was born on March 8th, 1930 in Wonosobo. He has studied in Magelang for Junior High School. He reached the school by bicycle everyday. Then, he went to HBS School (Senior High School at the time of the Dutch East Indies). He had studied in Semarang for 2 years, before he moved to Malang. At this time, he met Kwee Gwat Kien or Lisa.

Tirto Utomo has studied for 2 years at Gajah (Gadjah) Mada University in Surabaya. He has worked as a journalist at “Jawa Pos Newspaper” during his study. Tirto eventually moved to the Faculty of Law in University of Indonesia. He was working as a Chief Editor of the Daily Sin Po and Five Colors Magazine when he studied at university. He also met Lisa in University of Indonesia. Lisa was also working at British American Tobacco (BAT Indonesia) when she studied. She dropped out from university, after she had failed on her final exam. In 1955, Lisa taught elementary students at Regina Pecis.

Tirto Utomo and Lisa got married on December, 21th 1957 in Malang. The big problem came in 1959, Tirto dismissed from Sin Po as an editor. However, he had the willingness to finish his study from University of Indonesia. October 1960, Tirto graduated and hold a law of degree. After graduation, Tirto worked in Permina (Perusahaan Minyak Nasional). He was placed in “Pangkalan Brandan”. There, the daily need was using (without a)water from a river.

Tirto Utomo got an idea to build Aqua when (while) he was entertaining delegates from U.S. company. The dinner was interrupted when the delegation’s wife had diarrhea caused by consuming water. Tirto realized that the guests from Western countries are not used to drinking (drink) boiled water, but water that has been sterilized. Tirto Utomo sure that Indonesian’s people will lack clean water ready to drink.

Tirto and his brother have begun to learn how to process packaged drinking water since this incident. Tirto’s brother worked in Polaris (A bottled water company in Thailand) to learn how made a bottled water. So, In 1973 PT Aqua Golden Mississippi is built. Tirto Utomo already died in 1994. Tirto Utomo already make a manufacturer of bottled water which is the largest in Indonesia.

REVISED WORK#4

DIAN PELANGI

Dian wahyu Utami is often called Dian Pelangi. She is the main designer of Dian Pelangi company, one of the nation’s leading moslem fashion house. She was Born on January 14th 1991 in Palembang, she later graduated from Ecole Superieur des Arts et Techniques de la Mode (ESMOD) with a very satisfying grade at 2008. She grew up in a family that strong in Islamic tradition. Her father is a garment businessman, and her mother is the owner of Muslim boutique , she was challenged to make a change.

When Dian was born, her parents started doing bussiness veil of Palembang rainbow cloth. The Muslim fashion boutique was named Dian Pelangi who was become a brand name at once dian nickname . Since dian was child, she had been prepared by her parents to continue the family business. There was a time when Dian felt her life was too organized. She had rebelled when she was forced to take the Department of dressmaking at SMK I Pekalongan, Central Java.

Then she took over the management batik business of her parents . Three years managed by Dian, her parents’ boutique has grown to nine cities, including an outlet in Malaysia. As young designer, Dian Pelangi brings colour and excitement to the local and International Muslim Fashion Scene. She is fanatic with her hand made traditional cloth as the raw material. such as jumputan cloth, songket Palembang ,and batik pekalongan.

Dian Pelangi was 18 years old when she made her debut at the the Jakarta Fashion Week in November 2009 .With her unique designs to incorporate bright colors into her fashions along with her unique ways of styling her hijabs on her models, she has captured the attention of the Muslim Fashion world. In 2012, Dian Pelangi publishes his own books under the title Hijab Street Style, published by Scholastic Press Hijab books Street Style is the first book Dian Pelangi which was launched on July 15, 2012. The book contains about 600 more photos from various Indonesian Muslim and also from abroad such as Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, and others.

Dian Pelangi is known as a multitalented designer, she brings a fresh breeze on the stage colorful Muslim fashion in Indonesia and overseas. Dian Pelangi works inspired by the rainbow which has so rich in color and always tried to explore the Indonesian culture ranging from the beautiful to the batik songket fancy. Dian Pelangi is a designer who can demonstrate to the world that the Muslim fashion could be a global fashion icon.

At the end of 2011, Dian Pelangi travelled to Paris to join The International Fair of Muslim World at Le Bourget and has certainly made her mark as a young Indonesian designer to watch.
