  1. Hi Asri, I will you give feedback. I think this sentence " He had studied in Semarang for 2 years, before he moved to Malang" is incorrect (paragraph 1). Because the sentence is stressed at the time so we use present perfect tense. The correct sentence is " He has studied in Semarang for 2 years, before he moved to Malang.”
And I think this sentence "Tirto Utomo got an idea to build Aqua when he was entertaining delegates from U.S. company" is incorrect (paragraph 4). The correct sentence is "Tirto Utomo had gotten an idea to build Aqua when he entertained delegates from U.S. company."
I'm sorry if my comment is false.Thank you.:)

  2. Thanks for your feedback's Ukhti :) I think this sentence "He had studied in Semarang for 2 years, before he moved to Malang." is correct. Because I want to tell about something that happened in the past, and I want to refer back to something that happened before that time. So, in this sentence I compare two sentences that happened in the past.

  3. I think the second correction is correct ukh, the correct sentence is Tirto Utomo got an idea to build Aqua while he entertaining delegates from U.S. company. But for the first line, I disagree with your correction. In this sentence I use past continuous and the past simple tense together. When this happens, the past continuous describes a longer, ‘background’ action or situation and the past simple describes the action or events.

  4. Hai Asri.. I will give you feedback too..
"There, the daily need was using a water from river."

You have used an indefinite article (a, an) with an uncountable noun. Remove the article for the phrase to make sense.
"There, the daily need was using water from river."

Give me your feedback too. Thank you :)
